What Customers Say About Xbox 360 Console Halo 3 Special Edition (with HDMI):

Don't buy it, you'll be sorry. The Microsoft Xbox support staff will listen to your concerns and will not help you because they have all been lobotomized by Bill Gates. After a year, your unit will flash two rings indicating that it is overheating. Your warranty will be up and Microsoft will want to charge you $150.00 to repair it.
The game is cool but the Xbox is a little messed up and is pretty loud, but it works.
Console operation aside, from a gamers perspective (at least mine), the xbox 360 is the console to own in terms of game library and functionality. As the Wii is being burdened with more ruddy-ware, and the PS3 has a shot in the dark once a year, this is the best console for any gamer particularly for the price. I have had my Halo xbox for over a year and a half with absolutely no problems whatsoever (crosses fingers). I love being able to download DLC for games that have already outlived those on other consoles. The Halo console has worked perfectly for me, and while the aesthetics are a perk, this console offers much more to those outside of the Halo fan base. The console does not have the Falcon chip, however in terms of performance I have been unable to discern between mine and those that do. To date no red rings of death and even xbox games have run well on it.
probably. i know im alone when i say that the xbox 360 is better than the ps3 and the wii, but that is just my opinion. therefore i strongly suggest you buy the xbox 360. the xbox 360 has a lot of games you should all own, like halo 3, gears of war 1-2, and some other more. i have owned this console for a year and it still works. probably, it still works because i have the halo 3 edition.
I had the red ring with an E74 error code (you can google that too), and even though my unit was less than one year old Microsoft told me that it would not be covered by warranty, but I could have the privilege of paying them $100, in advance, to send them my unit and have them send me a refurbished unit within 6 weeks (I'm sure the refurbished unit would last a nice long time too). This link is to an article about the latest preventable defect with this unit: [.].I'm giving this unit one star only because I cannot figure out how to give it no stars. Before you buy this unit google "xbox 360 red ring of death." Some estimate the failure rate at 33% for these units. Buy a PS3 instead. This product is junk. Another example of Microsoft releasing a product to market before it is ready.
